About this category
Long-nose pliers have slim jaws for gripping, bending and placing fine wire and small parts in tight spaces, typically 5"–8" and forged from chromium-vanadium steel. Serrated jaws grip well but mark the work; for electronics or jewellery choose smooth-jawed versions. Check that the edges will cut fine wire, that the jaws close in alignment (misaligned jaws grip nothing) and that the spring return is light.
