Plastering Trowel 1 products

A plastering trowel spreads and compacts mortar, filler and plaster. Plates commonly run 0.5–0.8 mm thick: thin and springy suits finishing, thicker suits levelling. Check that the plate is genuinely flat (a warped one never leaves a level surface), that the handle angle suits your wrist, and the plate hardness — stainless resists rust but is softer, carbon is harder but must be dried and oiled.
