Wire Stripper 1 products
A wire stripper removes insulation without nicking the copper, using a notched jaw that grips the conductor diameter so one squeeze cuts and pulls the sleeve away. Typical range is 0.2–6 mm2, and most models also cut and crimp. Check three things: whether the blades are gauged by conductor size (auto-adjusting models are safer on fine wire), whether there is a depth stop so the blade cannot bite into the copper, and whether it handles flat ribbon cable. For daily electrical work pick a spring-return model you can work one-handed.
