Crimping Pliers 0 products
Crimping pliers press a terminal onto the end of a wire and lock it with a ratchet mechanism, giving a far more reliable joint than hammering. Typical range is 0.5–6 mm2, with chromium-vanadium jaws that are through-hardened. When choosing, check three things: whether the ratchet can be released mid-stroke (so a bad crimp can be undone), whether the jaws are replaceable, and whether the handle span suits long sessions. For mains work pick a model with locating teeth so the terminal cannot shift.
