A network crimper combines crimping, stripping and cutting, and is built for RJ45/RJ11 plugs: the die presses every contact into its conductor evenly. Dies are not interchangeable — the profile for network plugs differs from phone plugs. Check that the die matches the connector you actually use (RJ45 and RJ11 are usually combined on one tool), that there is a ratchet so the crimp completes in one stroke, and that the stripping blade is replaceable. For Cat6a and above, choose a professional-grade tool: a weak crimp causes packet loss.
